Silver Shadow (3.9% ABV)                                 January 06

A pale session beer of considerable character despite its low gravity. The first regular Ossett brew to utilize eco-friendly English hedgerow hops.

 

Silver Link (4.6% ABV)                                         Feb & Nov 06

A sparkling, lager coloured beer with a distinctive grapefruit flavour derived from one of the less common American hop varieties. Dry on the palate with a tangy citrus aftertaste.

   

Santiam (4.3% ABV)                                             March & Sept 06

A very pale ale, utilizing Santiam hops grown in the US State of Oregon. Dry and bitter with a powerfull floral aroma and hints of tangerine.

 

Oregon Pale (4.7% ABV)                                      April 06

A full-bodied golden ale with its distinctively soft yet fruity aroma derived from hops grown in the Willamette Valley, Oregon.

Dazzler (4.5% ABV)                                               May 06

Aptly named for its brilliant appearance. A gold coloured beer, light on the palate with a bitter finish and delicate aroma.

  Millbridge Mild (3.7% ABV)                   May 06
A dark, velvety, lightly hopped mild ale with hints of roast malts and chocolate.
   

Silver Fox (4.1% ABV)                                          June 06

A light, refreshing lager type beer with a clean yet dry palate. Silver Fox has a characteristic hop aroma resulting from the use of the very finest English hops.

 

Mellow Yellow (4.5% ABV)                                  July 06

A golden pale ale utilising Brewers Gold hops imported from Germany. A clean, refreshing bitterness is complemented by the mellow floral hop aroma. Subtly spicy.

A strong, clear wheat beer. Mellow, fruity and full bodied with plenty of hop aroma.

A mellow yet hoppy pale ale. fairly dry with plenty of citrus fruit on the aroma.

A rich stout with powerful liquorice and chocolate malty flavours.

Resolution (4.5% ABV)                                         January 06

A mellow, full bodied golden ale. Hearty and warming, with plenty of English hops for a spicy aroma.

 

Snowdrop (4.2% ABV)                                         February 06

Maris Otter and wheat malts make up the grist of this very pale beer. Fruit and spice notes are derived from a generous addition of hops.

 

Commonwealth (4.0% ABV)                              March 06

Dry and fairly bitter, this pale beer uses hop varieties sourced from within the Commonwealth to give a pine and lemon crispness.

 

Hops Skip & Jump (4.3% ABV)                         April 06

Pale, hoppy and refreshing. A dry, fruity bitter with a delicate aroma.

 

Perle of Wisdom (4.1% ABV)                            May 06

A very dry, refreshing lager style beer. Named after the Perle hops which give plenty of fruit both in taste and aroma.

Aptly named! This is very light on the palate for such a strong beer. Mellow with a hoppy aroma.

 

Lions Roar (4.3% ABV)                                             June 06

Brewed in support of England's World Cup campaign,  this robust, full bodied golden ale has a hint of sweetness, perfectly balanced by a high degree of bitterness. A generous addition of English hops gives a distinctive citrus aroma. COME ON ENGLAND!

 

Yorkshire Glory (4.2% ABV)                                    July 06

Brewed to celebrate a very special day - Yorkshire Day.  Let us all be proud of August 1st with this dry, pale and bitter ale.  This beer has distinctive grapefruit characteristics in both taste and aroma.

 

Chilled Out (4.3% ABV)                                       August 06

A golden fruity beer. Fairly dry and very refreshing with suggestions of blackcurrant in the aroma.  Sit back, relax and enjoy this refreshing summer beer.

 

19th Hole! (4.1% ABV)                                    September 06

A dry bitter confrontation between only the best  UK and USA  hop varieties. Brewed to celebrate the bi-annual Ryder Cup between Europe and the USA. Pale, floral and fruity.

 

Turning Leaves (4.3% ABV)                              October 06

A golden full bodied ale. Mellow and slightly sweet. Spicy and blackcurrant characteristics may be detected.

 

Big Red (4.2% ABV)                                    November 06

A change from the typical Ossett style. A delicate, full bodied ruby red ale with citrus/spicy characteristics.

A golden hoppy bitter. Full bodied and fruity with citrus and spice in the aroma. Perhaps even a hint of cranberry!
