Carrying On With The Annual Family Fun Day

There has been an awful lot of change at Ossett Brewery over the 20 years that it has been brewing beer, but one constant has been the enduring spirit to carry on, despite whatever chaos is ensuing around us. Demand for our beer pretty much dictates that we have to do that, but where others may chuck the towel in and give up, at the King’s Yard brewery we have learnt to adapt to whatever is thrown at us. Bloke From Hull Reports on #IWCBD 2015

Following a successful first appearance in 2014, the International Women’s Collaborative Brew Day returned on International Women’s Day, Sunday 8th March 2015 with over 80 participants from 11 countries. All the female brewers who joined this year brewed Unite Red Ale (4.6% ABV), the recipe of which was formulated by event Founder and Brewster Sophie de Ronde of Muntons Malt. Co-ordination of all of the brewers and teams was again headed by Denise Ratfield of Pink Boots Society.
