The 'Bull proved to be a success from the off and it has become something of a template for the pubs that we have subsequently opened. Now ten pubs strong and getting bigger the Ossett Pub Group is one of Yorkshires fastest growing pub chains. The trading name of the pub company is Ossett Brewery Pub Company Ltd..  In the mould of the brewery, the pubs are now starting to win acclaim.  Awards from the beer campaigning group CAMRA have flooded in with The Bull, The Rat, The Traveller's and both the Shepherd's winning awards for their beer and The Three Pigeons receiving a design award from CAMRA and English Heritage.  Seven pubs appear in the current issue of The Good Beer Guide.    If you require any information about the pub group please contact Dawn Howard at: dawn@ossett-brewery.co.uk Friendly welcome Ossett Pubs offer a friendly welcoming atmosphere. The all have multi-room layouts.  Many have outside shelters for smokers. Beer Most Ossett Brewery pubs offer a minimum of 4 Ossett ales, Timothy Taylor Landlord and a minimum of two rotating guest ales,  along with at least one mild, stout or porter.  The Riverhead and Fernandes Brewery Taps showcase onsite brewery beers but in addition have two Ossett Brewery beers available. Lager We offer Veltins (a premium German brewed lager) and Erdinger Weissbrau (a German wheat beer) in all of our pubs alongside Carling Lager and/or Becks Vier. Whisky All of our pubs have an excellent range of single malts along with a selection of popular blended whiskys. Wine Our wine lists are extensive and they offer something for all tastes.
