BLACK BULL IN LIVERSEDGE CLOSES FOR MAJOR REFURBISHMENT Ossett Brewery’s first community pub, The Black Bull in Liversedge is temporarily closed for refurbishment and is set to re-open on Thursday 16th June. The major refurbishment work will upgrade the nearly 300 year old pub by tastefully enhancing the original features without losing its traditional charm. This traditional inn has served refreshments to both the local community and thirsty travellers for nearly three centuries. Congratulations to The Black Bull Liversedge on featuring in CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide for a whopping 10 consecutive years. The Heavy Woollen Branch of CAMRA attended the busy community pub on Tuesday evening to present the award to landlady, Linda Rowley. This award is only issued to pubs that year on year produce consistency of excellence in their serving and keeping of Real Ale.
