Previous experience as an industrial chemist, home brewing enthusiast and real ale drinker. His first job at Ossett included sales, brewing, driving the dray, making pumpclips and writing invoices by hand. Everything really. With the company since 2001. No nicknames that he knows about, although plenty exist behind his back. Love his job and loves drinking beer.
A Master Brewer with experience at Everards and Carlsberg Tetley, Jayne joined the company in 2017 having previously worked as a consultant to the brewing industry. Responsible for quality, laboratory and Health and Safety, Jayne is the person that makes sure we don’t do things we shouldn’t. She is Northern Secretary and an examiner for the IBD, a scout leader and all round super-human.
Thirteen year’s with the company. No previous in brewing other than as a beer drinker and living next door to our brewery tap. Able to turn his hand to most things in the brewery and known at work for being steady, reliable and fond of things staying just the way they are.
The youngster of the brewing team and the only one that doesn’t seem to suffer from a bad back, creaky knees, failing eyesight, etc… Studied Law at university, but joined the company via a bar job and has risen to become a valuable member of the brewing team. His prospects are only hampered by the fact that he supports a team from Manchester that play in red.
The most recent addition to the team, having joined the company in 2017, Mark is the resident beer geek and comes complete with obligatory beard. Previously having worked for a company suppling nuts and bolts to the aerospace industry he finds making beer for a living much more fun and has acquired a slim new physique from running up and down the stairs all day.
