The Black Bull was the first pub acquired by the newly founded Ossett Brewery Pub Co. back in May 2003, setting a standard that became the benchmark for all its subsequent public houses. Ossett Brewery Pub Co. now has 26 sites around Yorkshire. The Black Bull oozes charm and warmth, serving an array of cask ales and modern keg beer. This traditional inn has served refreshments to both the local community and thirsty travellers for over 250 years. The pub is split into individual rooms each with its own character and ambience; such as the Chapel Room with its high ceiling and the classic Tap Room populated by friendly locals. The original indenture certificate of the landlord from a bygone age, still hangs on the wall dated 1781.
