Merry Christmas

Let's raise a glass to 2019...

2018 HIGHLIGHTS

We said hello to our new microbrewery, Salt Beer Factory. Salt Beer Factory is housed in a Grade II listed Edwardian tramshed, located in the UNESCO village of Saltaire, Bradford. Salt began with a simple dream - to brew great craft lager, but evolved into something much greater. Expect to find a range of hop-forward beers including IPAs, stouts, lagers and exciting brewing collaborations. The venue includes the taproom, live music space, wood-fired pizza oven, gift shop and DJ booth.

From Salt Beer Factory, the Craft Asylum concept was born, two craft-focused city centre bars in Leeds, combining the best in modern brewing from Salt and guest leading breweries, 50+ artisan gins, premium coffee and complimentary homemade popcorn!

The Old Peacock in Leeds (opposite Elland Road) had a little makeover and stripped out the kitchen to make room for our new collaboration with The Spiced Mango Indian Restaurant.

In the new year we will be saying goodbye to our brews, Big Red and Pale Gold. But don’t fret, we are launching an exciting addition to the core range family, a traditional bitter called Yorkshire Brunette. This beer is an easy-drinking session bitter brewed with pale wheat and roasted malts. Pale chestnut in colour and with moderate bitterness, aromas of spice and citrus fruit come from the hops.

Watch out for our new Single Hop Series and Small Batch Limited Edition beer next year
