We are looking to recruit a part time/relief driver (typically 2 days a week but must be flexible), to join our small but friendly team.  The role requires the individual to deliver casks, kegs and packaged items to pubs, clubs and retailers throughout Yorkshire and beyond.

The successful candidate must:

• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Accurately and safely; pick, load and deliver cask, kegs and packaged items into our customers cellars
• Have the ability to plan their own routes and maximise efficiencies for the company
• Offer exemplary customer service as ‘the face’ of Ossett Brewery
• Work to delivery schedules
• Previous experience of driving vans and multi drop deliveries would be an advantage
• The role involves heavy lifting

We are currently recruiting for production team members based in our packaging and cellaring department based in Ossett. This is an essential role producing a varied range of beverage products to a very high standard. The role will entail processing and packaging product into Cask, Keg and can format. The ideal candidates will be well organised, able to multitask and able to adapt to changes in workstreams well. Being able to work as part of a growing team is essential, supporting where needed. Good communication is a must.

The working hours will be between 05:00 and 23:00, 5 Days a week on a weekly/bi-weekly changing roster.

Your key duties will include;

• Working on and operating the Cask, Keg and Can filling lines including set up, operation and cleaning of packing lines to company SOP.
• Completing daily checks, and filling out all paperwork accurately, recording data through Brew-Man and excel.
• Cellaring duties to include, gravity, pH, temperature and yeast analysis, yeast cropping, pitching, dry hopping and Tank CIP.
• Ensuring products are produced to company specifications and highlighting non-conformance of products.
• Adherence to company health and safety policy, ensuring we improve and maintain safe working practices.
• Maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness at all times.
• Maintaining equipment as per the company maintenance programme.
• Managing raw materials in and storage, ensuring stock is booked into the Brew-man system accurately.
• Working as a team to manage the external storage areas.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 2 Years experience within food production
• HACCP Level 2
• 3 Years brewery production experience (not essential)
• Experience with SALSA or BSI auditing
